Natural Methods
Our farmers use natural methods to control insects that damage the fruit, keeping our produce healthy and safe for the consumer. An example is the use of natural pheromones, which are placed in diffusers hanging from the trees to control caterpillars (Cydia pomonella L.). This technique, called "mating disruption", prevents the mating of male and female insects.
Integrated Production
Our farmers judiciously manage natural resources - soil, water and pollinators - to produce quality fruit that is safe for consumers and that assures the long-term sustainability of agriculture. Our orchards are managed according to Integrated Production principles, an agricultural system for producing high quality food based on the use of natural resources and regulating mechanisms to replace potentially polluting inputs.
Drip irrigation
Our farmers use drip irrigation, a type of micro-irrigation with the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants. Digital soil moisture sensors help us decide how much water to use and when.

Preserving the ecosystem
By not mobilizing orchard soils, we preserve the fertility and balance of the subsoil, minimizing the need for fertilizers.
